David

David is the Owner and Founder of Har Barber. He has been in the barbering industry for 9 years and has been fortunate enough to train under some amazing names locally and nationally. Starting out as an apprentice under well known Glenrothes hairstylist Christine Smith in 2013 after just short of 2 years moved on to work under Brian Jobson Of Hope Hairdressing & Old Town Barber club where He underwent the majority of his barbering training. Cutting hair there for just shy of 3 years. David was also fortunate to visit the well known Savills Barbershop in Sheffield for an intense 2 days workshop with Master Barber Joth Davis.

David enjoys cutting all different hairstyles & specialises In classic 1920s inspired cuts

Courtney

Courtney Joined The Har Barber team only a month after we first opened our doors. Courtney has been cutting hair for 6 years, working at such well-known fife Salons such as Migele experience, Smiths Hair room & Spoiled. Courtney is fully qualified in both woman and men but has chosen to focus on the barbering aspects of Hair. Courtney enjoys all aspects of Gents cuts and knows her way around a pair of clippers. Courtney's favourite style to cut is Mod style & specialises in scissor cuts.

Lyall

Lyall is our Ex-Royal Navy engineer. Lyall learned the trade through a traditional barber course over many months run by Badlands Barber Co. a well-respected Barbershop in the city of Perth. Lyall was offered a job within Badlands until moving back home in fife and started work here at Har.

Lyall has always loved the traditional aspects of service within the barbering industry, providing clean and sharp haircuts that will last or carrying out a traditional hot towel shave. Some of his favourite cuts to do are slick backs or a sharp 2 back and sides.

Lyall specialises in Traditional hot towel shaving

Big time gamer and loves all things pop culture.

 

Tom

Tom trained at SB Barbers and worked within a couple of shops in Edinburgh and a very reputable shop in Australia. Tom is a talented musician and has a great passion for his work.

Kola

Kirkcaldy Shop Manager Kola is second to none when it comes to providing a 10/10 barbering experience and her reputation is well known around Fife and further for just that. From Classic hot shaves to slick backs to your modern crops. Kola has you covered

Mitch

Mitch joined the team whilst training at Fife College. He shown a keen interest in learning everything he could from his fellow Har Barber members and applying that to his own skill set. It wasn’t long before Mitch was qualified from his course ahead of schedule and was graduated on to the floor. It hasn’t taken long for Mitch to establish himself as a confident barber that takes everything in his stride and has made quite the impression on our clients. With a great eye for detail. Mitch always has the clients leaving feeling and looking as fresh.

 
 

Jamie

Jamie is the newest member of the hár barber team, and even though he took the plunge in to the barbering industry later in life, his enthusiasm for the craft is undeniable.

Jamie is passionate about all aspects of barbering and is constantly learning and developing his skill to ensure the best results for every customer that sits in his chair!

As well as being passionate about barbering Jamie is also an actor and playwright with multiple award winning plays under his belt.

Darren

Darren started his career in barbering 4 years ago, after Being in a job he no longer enjoyed for over 10years, he gave up his full time job and took the step of returning to full time education.  Training during the week at Fife  college. One for always going the extra mile during your service and Darren won't be happy until you are!!
